Managers Field Maintenance 
Managers are responsible for training and supervision of all coaches, players, and parents assisting with field maintenance including but not limited to raking, sweeping and watering the fields .

Pre-Game Field Preparation

1. Rake and Drag Infield and Home plate area
2. Rake Base paths – Always move dirt away from grass edges.
3. Rake Pitcher’s Mound moving dirt away from grass edges to fill in low spots.
4. Use Chalk lines to paint base paths and outfield if needed.

Post-Game Field Preparation

1. Rake and Drag Infield and Home Plate area
2. Rake Pitcher’s Mound moving dirt away from grass edges to fill in low spots.
3. Sweep Dugouts
4. Use broom to sweep any dirt off of the grass.

Last Game of the Day Field Maintenance

1. Rake and Drag Infield and Home Plate area
2. Rake Pitcher’s Mound moving dirt away from grass edges to fill in low spots.
3. Sweep Dugouts
4. Sweep Stands
5. Empty Trash cans
6. Generously Water Infield dirt and Pitcher’s mound 

Training facility Bull Pen Maintenance

1. Rake Pitcher’s mounds after each team use.
2. Rake Catchers area as needed.
3. End of day or last team to water all three Pitcher’s mounds generously.
4. End of day or last team to lock bull pen gate.

Training facility Batting Cages Maintenance

1. Rake low spots as needed in pitching and batting areas.
2. End of day or last team to lock all batting cage gates.
